This week’s Paramount+ releases include one of Tom Hardy‘s best crime shows and much more binge-worthy content.

Season 2 of the Paramount+ crime drama MobLand will premiere on September 18, 2026. The new season sees the Harrigan family struggle to stay united as new rivals threaten their crumbling empire. At the center of the chaos is Harry Da Souza, the family’s sharp and resourceful fixer. He must manage brutal internal feuds and escalating violence as loyalties begin to collapse under pressure.

The series stars Tom Hardy as Harry Da Souza, Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan, and Helen Mirren as Maeve Harrigan. It also features Paddy Considine as Kevin Harrigan, Joanne Froggatt as Jan Da Souza, and Lara Pulver as Bella Harrigan. Anson Boon, meanwhile, plays Eddie Harrigan, while Mandeep Dhillon and Janet McTeer feature as Seraphina Harrigan and Kat McAllister, respectively.

Another must-watch release this week is Route 187, arriving on September 16 as a Paramount+ limited series. The four-part 2026 crime drama unfolds in South Winslow, an impoverished city riddled with crime. The story centers on city bus Route 87, nicknamed “Route 187” after the police code for homicide because of the extreme violence along its path. A bystander video captures the deadly assault and brutal murders of a bus driver and a high school basketball star. The footage sparks widespread outrage across the community.

For something more lighthearted, Show Dogs is also dropping on Paramount+ on September 15. The 2018 family comedy follows Max, a tough-talking police Rottweiler, and his human partner, FBI agent Frank, played by Will Arnett. The unlikely duo goes undercover at a prestigious dog show to bust an animal-smuggling ring.
