This 1955 MG TF 1500 was refurbished around 2005 and was acquired by the current owner on BaT in August 2024. The car is finished in Ivory over red leather and is powered by a 1.5-liter XPEG inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The 15″ wire-spoke wheels were fitted with Michelin tires under current ownership, and the car is also equipped with a tan soft top, a 4.33:1 rear end, chrome bumpers, running boards, rear-hinged doors, and a folding windshield. This TF 1500 is now offered by the seller on behalf of their spouse with an operation manual and a clean Arkansas title in the owner’s name.

Finished from the factory in Ivory, the car was repainted circa 2005. Additional features include a tan soft top, chrome bumpers, wind wings, running boards, rear-hinged doors, and a folding windshield.

The 15″ wire wheels with knock-off hubs were mounted with Michelin XZX tires following the owner’s acquisition, and a matching spare is scured out back. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drums.

Refreshed under prior ownership, the cabin features low-back bucket seats trimmed in red leather upholstery, which is complemented by black carpets. A dash-mounted rearview mirror, a passenger grab handle, and dual dashboard storage compartments are additional details.

The banjo-style steering wheel wears an aftermarket leather wrap, and Jaeger instrumentation consists of a 105-mph speedometer with an inset clock as well as a tachometer and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 68k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.

The 1.5-liter XPEG inline-four is equipped with dual SU carburetors for a factory rating of 63 horsepower and 76 lb-ft of torque. A replacement 12-volt battery was installed in 2024.

The engine is linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a 4.33:1 rear end that was reportedly sourced from an MGA.
