This 1960 Triumph TR3A is said to have remained registered with its original owner until it was acquired by the seller in 2023, and it was the subject of a multi-year refurbishment that was completed in 2026. Work included repainting the exterior, re-trimming the interior in custom tan vinyl, rebuilding the 1,991cc inline-four, overhauling the brakes and suspension, replacing the wiring, and installing an alternator, electronic ignition, a high-torque starter, an electric cooling fan, an electric fuel pump, and a Bluetooth-capable Kenwood stereo head unit. Additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, a white convertible top, chrome trim, front disc brakes, 15″ steel wheels, a heater, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. This TR3A is now offered with refurbishment invoices and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car was disassembled during the refurbishment, and the seller notes that Signal Red was used to finish the exterior. A replacement white convertible top was installed, and additional appointments include wind wings, fender-mounted side mirrors, a cowl hood vent, and a chrome front bumper and rear bumperettes.
The suspension and brake system were overhauled in December 2025, according to the seller. The 15″ steel wheels feature hubcaps and are mounted with 165/80 Nexen SB-802 tires. The car was factory equipped with a coil-sprung independent front suspension and a semi-elliptic leaf-spring rear suspension.
The bucket seats were reupholstered in tan custom vinyl during the refurbishment, and matching upholstery extends to the door panels. Replacement black carpets were installed, and additional appointments include a heater, lap belts, door pockets, a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, a wooden shift knob, a glovebox-mounted Kenwood Bluetooth stereo, and a fabricated glovebox door with a wooden fascia.
The banjo-style steering wheel is mounted on a telescopic column and fronts a Jaeger 120-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer. Auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and amperage are positioned at the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 42k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership. The windshield wipers are inoperative. A replacement wiring harness was installed, and a modern-style fuse block has been fitted under the dashboard.
The 1,991cc OHV inline-four was removed, disassembled, and overhauled under current ownership. A valve job was performed, the crankshaft was reground, the connecting rods were re-sized, and .030″ undersized main bearings and .040″ rod bearings were installed, along with a replacement camshaft, pistons, cylinder liners, cam bearings, and thrust washers. Further work included an alternator conversion and installing electronic ignition, a high-torque starter, an electric cooling fan, and an electric fuel pump.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The frame and underside of the car were finished in black during the refurbishment, and a replacement stainless-steel exhaust system was installed.

The reproduction data plate above lists a commission number of TS74127L, which corresponds to the VIN on the current California title.
