This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a 327ci L79 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is refinished in blue over blue. The car was acquired by the current owner’s late spouse in May 2025, and the selling dealer tells us that subsequent work included adding power steering and a brake booster and replacing the trailing arms, soft top, heater core, and dash pad. Additional features include reproduction 15″ cast-aluminum wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, side-exit exhaust pipes, an AM/FM radio, and retractable headlights. This C2 is now offered in Pennsylvania on dealer consignment with a New Jersey title.

The fiberglass body was finished at the factory in Nassau Blue (FF) and was refinished under previous ownership. Features include a replacement white convertible soft top, flip-up headlights, chrome bumpers, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, and side-exit exhaust pipes. Evidence of prior bodywork is present on the left-side rear fender, and paint blemishes and orange peel are visible around the body. There is a crack in the fiberglass surround near the left front turn signal.

Reproduction 15″ cast aluminum wheels feature knock-off hubs and are mounted with 205/75 whitewall tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Work under current ownership is said to have included adding a power brake booster and power steering as well as replacing the brake caliper O-rings, and replacing the trailing arms and additional rear suspension components.

The bucket seats were reupholstered under prior ownership in blue vinyl. Recent work has involved replacing the dash pad and heater core, painting the dashboard, and rebuilding the AM/FM radio and clock. The carpeting shows fading in areas.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 58k miles, but does not work. Total mileage is unknown.

The 327ci L79 V8 was rated from the factory at 350 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. Equipment includes an aluminum intake manifold, an aftermarket Holley four-barrel carburetor, and finned-aluminum valve covers. Oil leaks are noted from the valve covers and timing cover gasket.

The engine stamping is shown above. The HT suffix corresponds with a 350-horsepower, 327ci V8 for use with a manual transmission. Additional casting numbers provided by the seller include:
