This 1967 MGB roadster was acquired as a project by the seller in 2016, and it was refurbished in British Racing Green with replacement tan leather upholstery under current ownership. Additional work is said to have included overhauling the 1.8-liter inline-four and the overdrive-equipped four-speed transmission, along with replacing assorted clutch, fuel, and brake components, and more. The car has been retrofitted with 15″ VTO alloy wheels and an extended-range fuel tank, and additional details include a replacement tan fabric soft top with a zip-down rear window as well as a wood-rimmed steering wheel, lap belts, and a heater. This MGB is now offered at no reserve with a removable hardtop, a tonneau cover, and a Tennessee title in the seller’s name.
The seller tells us that rusted metal was cut out and replaced, and replacement floor panels, quarter panels, rocker panels, and door skins were installed before the car was repainted in the current shade of British Racing Green in 2018. A replacement tan fabric soft top with a zip-down rear window was sourced, and additional appointments include a left door mirror, a fender-mounted mirror on the right side, and chrome-finished bumpers with overriders. Subsequent damage to the right rear fender was repaired, the area was repainted, and the rear bumper was replaced, per the seller.
The 15″ VTO Retro 4 alloy wheels feature gloss black centers, and they are mounted with 195/60 Goodyear Eagle tires. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums. The seller notes that the brake hydraulic cylinders were replaced in 2024.
The bucket seats are upholstered in replacement tan leather, and they are complemented by replacement color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior appointments include a locking glove box, a heater, and an ashtray on the transmission tunnel. Imperfections are noted on the upper dashboard pad.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, an inoperative tachometer, and gauges displaying oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. A later-style Smiths voltage gauge has been installed on the left side of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer has rolled over and shows 57k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership. The total mileage is unknown.
The 1.8-liter inline-four was overhauled in April 2026, according to the seller, and it is equipped with twin SU carburetors. The alternator is said to have been replaced in 2024, and additional work that year included replacement of the fuel pump and sending unit. The car has been fitted with an extended-range 16-gallon fuel tank, and work in preparation for the sale reportedly included installing a Pertronix distributor and replacing the spark plug wires.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive that was overhauled in 2024, according to the seller. Replacement clutch hydraulic cylinders and driveshaft universal joints are said to have been installed at that time, and the seller notes that the clutch assembly was replaced in 2026. The car is equipped with a replacement stainless-steel exhaust system.
A hardtop with a removed rear window is included in the sale, along with a tonneau cover and removable tonneau bars.
The Tennessee title for the car is listed as a duplicate.
