This 1968 Shelby Mustang GT350 was originally specified in Acapulco Blue with black knitted Décor upholstery, the Interior Décor and Visibility groups, a heavy-duty battery, the Extra Cooling Package, power steering and front discs, a Sport Deck rear seat, a tilt-away wheel, an AM radio, and a tachometer. Of the 1,053 fastbacks produced for the model year, it is one of the 528 ordered with a four-speed manual transmission linked to its 302ci V8. Between 1999 and 2000 it was restored, and it was acquired by its current owner in 2022. This GT350 is now offered by 911r, a BaT Local Partner, on consignment with a Deluxe Marti Report, records, and an Arizona title.

The GT350 model features a fiberglass hood with ram-air scoops and hood pins, a ducktail rear spoiler, and fender extensions as well as air scoops on the quarter panels.

This example is finished in Acapulco Blue (D) and was originally specified with wheel-lip moldings. Bodywork was performed and the car was repainted between 1999 and 2000 by H&K Auto Restoration in Omaha, Nebraska.

Ten-spoke 15″ aluminum wheels wear Shelby Cobra center caps and are mounted with white-letter BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car was ordered with power-assisted steering and front disc brakes, and the front suspension was serviced in 2022.

From the factory, the car was ordered with black knitted Décor upholstery, the Interior Décor and Visibility groups, a Sport Deck rear seat, a tilt-away wheel, an AM radio, and a tachometer. The blower motor and heater core were replaced in 2022, and an AM/FM radio has been installed along with a retrofitted air-conditioning system.

Event plaques are mounted on the woodgrain trim on the center stack.

The steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer as well as an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, vacuum pressure, and coolant temperature. A Stewart Warner ammeter and oil pressure gauge are housed in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 26k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership, though it is believed to be inaccurate and total mileage is unknown.

The 302ci V8 was factory equipped with a four-barrel Holley carburetor and was rated at 250 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The engine was rebuilt in the late 1990s by Steve Edwards of Omaha, Nebraska.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The fuel tank was replaced in 2022.

The Deluxe Marti Report lists factory equipment, production figures, initial delivery to Pletcher Ford Inc in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, and a build date of January 12, 1968.
