This 1969 Ford F-250 Ranger Camper Special is a rear-wheel-drive pickup that is said to have remained with a single family from new until its 2026 acquisition by the seller, who tells us that its Ford FE V8 displaces 390ci and has been modified with an electronic ignition system, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a 1968 Mustang-sourced intake manifold, 1972 truck-specification cylinder heads, aftermarket exhaust headers, and a dual exhaust system. Finished in beige and white over black vinyl and cloth, the truck also features a three-speed automatic transmission, a bedside storage box, a sliding rear window, West Coast mirrors, eight-hole 17″ wheels, a heater, and an AM radio. This bumpside F-250 is offered at no reserve with factory literature and a Washington title in the seller’s name.
The truck left the factory finished in two-tone Wimbledon White and Pebble Beige (M6), and the seller believes that it was repainted under previous ownership. Exterior details include a bedside storage box, a sliding rear window, West Coast mirrors, and side steps along with Ranger and Camper Special badges. The auxiliary fuel tank is inoperative. The seller notes areas of corrosion on the roof, doors, floors, and various additional surfaces, and photos show rust in the interior of the Styleside bed along with blemishes and corroded areas around the body.
Eight-hole 17″ wheels are wrapped in Cooper tires. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by four-wheel drums. The seller notes a power steering fluid leak.
The bench seat is trimmed in black vinyl with fabric inserts. Appointments include a heater, an AM radio, and crank windows. The seller recommends replacement of the carpeting.
The steering wheel frames a sweeping 100-mph speedometer. The fuel gauge is inoperative. The five-digit odometer shows 95k miles and is inaccurate according to the seller, who estimates having driven the truck 20 miles under their ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
