This 1972 Ford F-250 Custom 4×4 pickup was produced for sale in the San Jose district, and it is said to have spent the majority of its life in Oregon. It is finished in red over black vinyl and cloth, and power is provided by a 390ci V8 linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes dual fuel tanks, a receiver hitch, manually locking front hubs, front disc brakes, 16″ Ultra alloy wheels, a WARN winch, a Pioneer CD stereo, and aftermarket speakers. This bumpside F-250 is now offered by the selling dealer with an Oregon title.
The truck left the factory finished in Seapine Green Metallic (O), and it was repainted in red under previous ownership. The selling dealer tells us that a layer of clear coat was applied in 2026. Exterior details include a Styleside bed with diamond plate bed rail caps, as well as a WARN winch, Western Junior swing-lock mirrors, a receiver hitch, dual fuel tanks, and a rear step bumper. Areas of rust damage are shown up close in the gallery.
The 16″ Ultra alloy wheels are mounted with Wild Country Radial XTX tires. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, and braking is provided by front discs and rear drums. The brake lines were said to have been replaced in preparation for the sale.
The bench seat is trimmed in black vinyl and cloth, and further appointments include black carpeting, a Pioneer CD stereo, and aftermarket speakers mounted in the door panels. There are cracks in the dash pad.
The steering wheel frames a sweeping 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. A tachometer has been installed on the steering column. The five-digit odometer shows 22k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 390ci V8 was installed in 2020, according to the seller. Pro/Stock-branded valve covers have been installed.
Power is routed through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The Dana 60 rear axle was factory-equipped with a 4.10:1 gear ratio.
