This 1982 Ford F-150 XL was acquired in 2025 by the seller as a non-running two-wheel-drive project and subsequently converted to four-wheel-drive operation. Additional work involved overhauling the brake system, replacing the wheels and tires, and retrofitting a remanufactured 5.8-liter Windsor V8 equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor and linked with an AOD four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Refinished in brown and tan over beige upholstery, the truck is further equipped with polished 15″ aluminum wheels, Warn manually locking front hubs, Rough Country shocks, a suspension lift kit, power steering, and a bench seat. This F-150 XL is now offered with receipts for work performed under current ownership, spare parts, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The truck was repainted in brown with tan bodysides under previous ownership and features a Styleside long-bed with a spray-on liner. Details include stainless steel trim, chrome-finished bumpers, and front vent windows. The factory tailgate is missing, but an unpainted aftermarket tailgate is included in the sale. The body-mount bushings have been replaced, and rust is noted on the passenger side rocker panel.

Polished 15″ aluminum wheels were wrapped in 32×11.5″ Falken Rubitrek A/T 01 tires under current ownership. The truck rides on a lifted suspension with Rough Country shock absorbers and has been retrofitted with Warn manually locking front hubs. The front disc and rear drum brakes have been replaced along with the booster, master cylinder, and fluid lines.

The bench is trimmed in beige vinyl and joined by color-coordinated door panels. The air conditioning components have been removed, the radio produces static, and the cruise control does not work.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The seller notes that the horn does not work. The five-digit odometer shows 40k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added under current ownership. The Carfax report lists a potential odometer rollover in April 1998 followed by a mileage inconsistency in June 2026. Total mileage is unknown.

The remanufactured 5.8-liter Windsor V8 was fitted in July 2025 by Velocity Motorworks of Raleigh, North Carolina. An Edelbrock AVS2 carburetor has been installed, and additional work involved replacing the radiator, distributor, battery, starter, drive belts, and fuel sending unit, filter, and hoses.

Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through an AOD four-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt in March 2025 and linked with a dual-range transfer case. The torque converter has also been replaced.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned potential odometer rollover and mileage inconsistency entries.
