This 1982 Honda CBX Super Sport was acquired by the seller in 2016, and it now shows 23k miles. Powered by an air-cooled 1,047cc DOHC inline-six paired with a five-speed transmission, the motorcycle is finished in Pearl Altair White with blue and black graphics. It also features electronic ignition, a six-into-two exhaust system, air-adjustable suspension, triple disc brakes, ComStar multi-piece wheels, a half fairing, an aftermarket tall windscreen, a Corbin two-up seat, a rear grab handle, folding passenger foot pegs, and both center and side stands. According to the seller, work carried out within the past month included rebuilding the six Keihin carburetors as well as changing the oil, battery, and spark plugs. Forged aluminum clip-on handlebars are mounted above the upper triple clamp, which fronts an instrument panel containing a Nippon Seiki 85-mph speedometer, a matching tachometer with a 9,500-rpm redline, and a voltmeter as well as several warning lamps. The five-digit odometer shows 23k miles.
The air-cooled 1,047cc DOHC inline-six features an oil cooler, an electric starter, electronic ignition, four valves per cylinder, and a chrome six-into-two exhaust system with “HMMA2 A” muffler stampings. Factory-rated output was 100 horsepower and 60 lb-ft of torque. The seller tells us that the six 28mm Keihin carburetors were rebuilt by a specialist within the last month, and additional work during that time involved replacing the battery and spark plugs as well as changing the oil.
