This 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser VX is a left-hand-drive European-market example that was imported to the US in May 2022 and purchased by the seller on BaT in April 2023. Subsequently installed accessories include a Delta panhard-lift bracket, bumpers, and rock sliders as well as 17″ Vors wheels, a Warn winch, a Prinsu roof rack, auxiliary lighting, rear swing-outs, and a rear drawer/sleeper system. The truck is finished in Light Beige Metallic over two-tone brown and tan cloth upholstery, and it is powered by a 4.2-liter turbodiesel inline-six linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes locking front, center, and rear differentials along with four-wheel disc brakes, an Old Man Emu steering stabilizer and shocks, a sunroof, air conditioning, and a factory stereo with cassette and CD players. Showing 145k kilometers (~90k miles), this HDJ80 is offered in North Carolina with owner’s manuals, service records, and a clean Tennessee title in the seller’s name.

Factory-finished in Light Beige Metallic (4K1), the truck was repainted in 2023, according to the seller. Delta bumpers and rock sliders have been fitted, as have a Prinsu roof rack, a Warn front winch, auxiliary LED lighting, tinted taillight lenses, and rear swing-outs for a ladder, trail jack, and spare wheel/tire. Other exterior details include Turbo graphics, VX badging, a power-operated sunroof, window-tint film, sliding rear-quarter windows, and rear mud flaps.

Black-finished 17” Vors alloy wheels were sourced under current ownership and mounted with 35×12.50″ Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, and a matching spare setup is secured at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the truck was fitted with an Old Man Emu steering stabilizer and shock absorbers under previous ownership.

The front bucket seats and the split-folding second-row bench are upholstered in two-tone brown and tan cloth that extends to the door-panel inserts. Additional appointments include power-adjustable driver lumbar support, air conditioning, a rear heater, and a factory stereo with cassette and CD players as well as power windows, mirrors, and door locks.

The third-row seats have been removed to make way for a drawer system with a sleeping platform.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 190-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 145k kilometers (~90k miles), approximately 6k of which have been added under current ownership.

The 4.2L 1HD-T turbodiesel inline-six was factory rated at 164 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. An onboard compressor has been installed in the engine bay. Per the seller, service in June 2024 included changing the fluids and replacing the timing belt and water pump.

Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and electronically locking front, center, and rear differentials. A Delta rear panhard-lift bracket has been fitted, as have a MagnaFlow muffler and replacement exhaust-system components.

A French-language owner’s manual will accompany the vehicle, as will the other literature shown in the gallery.
