October has already started! Or should I say Mons-tober?

Spooky season is right around the corner, and we're running out of time to decide what we're going to do with our decorations. Yes, we can go to the attic and dust the giant stuffed spider we have there; we can leave the spiderwebs in the corners of the walls intact and get a few skeletons from Walmart. All of that is fine and good, but we can do better than that! We definitely need to add a witchy decoration somewhere, and a few monsters here and there can't hurt. And you know what looks amazing when done right? Carved pumpkins!

It's a lovely tradition, and there are a lot more designs out there than your classic triangle eyes and sharp smile. We can get a lot more spooky than that! And a lot more creative too! Halloween is not just about being scary anymore; it's about being creative, imaginative, and having an excuse to play and be someone else for a while. Costumes are not only witches, monsters, mummies, and zombies. We can have fairies, princesses, superheroes, movie characters, comic book characters, random concepts, animals, and the list goes on and on almost endlessly! It's the perfect moment to let your imagination run free, be whoever and whatever you want, and pull out your artistic gifts to carve some really original pumpkins to place in your front yard.

Again, if you don't love the scary lantern thing, that's totally okay! You don't need to carve them like that; you can do whatever design makes you happy! Here we present to you 20 ideas for inspiration. Remember, it's not only about the decoration, but it's also about the quality time you can spend with your loved ones doing something fun. It's a perfect date idea if you're looking for one, and a great activity for your kids if you have any and you're looking for a way to keep them entertained for a few hours away from the phones and computer screens.
