This 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is a 51k-mile Rubicon that has remained registered in California since new and was purchased by the current owner on BaT in December 2023. It is finished in Brilliant Black over Dark Slate Gray cloth and is powered by a 4.0-liter Power Tech inline-six linked to a six-speed manual transmission, a Rock-Trac dual-range transfer case, and Dana 44 front and rear axles with Tru-Lok remote locking differentials. A MetalCloak 3.5″ long-travel short-arm suspension system was installed under current ownership, and additional equipment includes a Rally Tops hardtop, full metal doors, 16″ MOAB cast-aluminum wheels, a Black Magic front big brake kit, a roll bar, a CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. This LJ Wrangler is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with manufacturer’s literature, invoices, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

This long-wheelbase Rubicon is finished in Brilliant Black and features a Rally Tops hardtop, full metal doors, driving lights, sill protectors, taillight guards, and a receiver hitch. The seller notes a small dent on the right side of the hood.

The 16″ MOAB cast-aluminum wheels were mounted with 285/75 Toyo Open Country M/T tires in May 2024, and a spare is secured to the swing-out tailgate. The Jeep came factory equipped with power steering, and a MetalCloak 3.5″ long-travel short-arm suspension system was fitted under current ownership. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four corners, and a Black Magic front big brake kit with dual-piston calipers was installed under previous ownership. The ball joints and inner axle shaft seals were replaced in May 2024, and the rear brake pads were changed in preparation for the sale.

The high-back front bucket seats and fold-and-tumble rear seat are upholstered in Dark Slate Gray cloth, and interior equipment includes a roll bar, a locking center console, a CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames a 100-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 51k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.0-liter Power Tech inline-six was rated at 190 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque when new.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Rubicon equipment included a Rock-Trac dual-range transfer case and Dana 44 front and rear axles with Tru-Lok remote locking differentials. The seller says that the differential fluid was changed in preparation for the sale.

The Carfax report is free from accidents or other damage.
