This Honda Civic Type R is a track-only TCR race car that was built in 2018 by JAS Motorsport of Milan, Italy, for Honda Performance Development. Chassis H70-050 was acquired by SCCA Hall of Famer Peter Cunningham around three years ago and campaigned for RealTime Racing in STU Class events, most recently to victory in the National Championship Runoffs at Road America in October 2025. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four linked with an Xtrac six-speed sequential gearbox and a mechanical limited-slip differential. The car is finished in a Championship White #42 livery with gray and orange stripes, and it features a JAS Motorsport aerodynamic body kit, adjustable rear wing, roll cage, and JAS disc brakes. Further equipment includes 18″ OZ Racing wheels, Öhlins dampers, and a MoTeC data logger along with an OMP fixed-back bucket seat and fire suppression system. Acquired by the seller on BaT in November 2025, this Civic Type R TCR is now offered on a bill of sale in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with a custom car cover, manufacturer’s literature, an SCCA logbook, and a collection of spare wheels and parts.

The Civic Type R TCR was introduced by Honda Performance Development and partner JAS Motorsport in 2017. The car is based on the tenth-generation Civic FK7 chassis as opposed to the wider FK8 chassis found on road-going Civic Type Rs. Fitted with a JAS Motorsport TCR homologated aerodynamic body kit, this example is finished in a Championship White #42 livery with orange and gray stripes, along with sponsorship decals. Additional equipment includes a carbon-fiber front splitter, an adjustable rear wing, hood vents, hood and decklid pins, dual fuel fillers, and OMP tow straps. The front bumper cover has been refinished.

The car has remained in the Peter Cunningham collection since the seller’s purchase in November 2025. The car has reportedly remained in storage since that time, and the photo gallery has been reused from the November 2025 auction.

The 18×10″ OZ Racing wheels are mounted with Pirelli rain tires, and four spare sets of wheels,  each with Hoosier A7 and R7 racing tires, are included in the sale. The car features Öhlins dampers and electrically-assisted rack-and-pinion steering. Stopping power is provided by JAS Motorsport six-piston calipers over 380mm two-piece rotors up front, joined by two-piston calipers over 258mm rotors at the rear.

The stripped cockpit is protected by a roll cage with integrated quick jacks and door bars and houses a single OMP fixed-back bucket seat trimmed in black cloth with a multi-point harness. A Civic TCR-branded multifunction control panel with a brake-bias adjuster knob is located to the driver’s right, and further details include a Tilton pedal set, an OMP fire suppression system, an oversized convex rearview mirror, window nets, and Honda-branded door panels with yellow door pulls.

The microsuede-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to a quick-release hub and fronts paddle shifters as well as a MoTeC C127 data logger with integrated shift lights. The digital odometer indicates 8k kilometers (~5k miles).

The turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four features a MoTeC M142 ECU and was rated by JAS Motorsport to produce 340 horsepower in TCR specification. A replacement radiator and intercooler were installed ahead of the 2025 SCCA National Championship Runoffs.

Power is sent to the front wheels through an Xtrac six-speed sequential gearbox and a mechanical limited-slip differential. Approximately 1,600 kilometers have been added since the gearbox was rebuilt.

The chassis tag is presented above, and it features Honda and JAS Motorsport logos as well as chassis number H70-050.

A spares package will accompany the car, and a seller-provided inventory list is provided in the gallery. An SCCA logbook and manufacturer’s literature are also included.

The car does not have a title or registration, as it is intended for track use only. It is being sold on a bill of sale.
