The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdullaziz Yari, has instructed all campaign directorates to prepare and submit detailed work plans ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking after the inaugural meeting at the Presidential Campaign Office in Abuja, Yari emphasized that the directorates carry responsibilities entrusted to them by President Bola Tinubu.
He urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by delivering effectively on their assignments.
Yari noted that the campaign team is also engaging traditional rulers across the country to seek blessings and prayers, stressing their importance as leaders closest to the grassroots.
He confirmed that the next stop in the consultation tour would be Kaduna on October 24, 2026, with visits continuing until January 16, 2027.
In recent days, Yari and other APC leaders have visited prominent monarchs including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, as well as emirs in Gwandu, Katsina, Daura, and Zaria.
These consultations form part of efforts to mobilize nationwide support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
