We're all waiting for the weekend to start working on our garden and relaxing with a glass of fresh lemonade!

The heat of summer and our daily responsibilities are leaving us dry. We get up in the morning and start running around everywhere until we come home at night, tired and overworked after a long day of keeping everything functioning. Not even the A.C is enough to freshen up our minds.

There's not much that we can do about how the world works or about how the sun is choosing to burn us all, but what we can do is take care of our emotions and mental state. The best we can do is talk to professionals who can help us get through all our daily life craziness. And another excellent thing is to make sure we have some time off to reconnect with ourselves and get out of the corporate machine that has us running around and doing its bidding.

A lovely way to do it is engaging in activities that are the exact opposite of that, like gardening! When you try to grow a garden, you need patience, time, sunlight, water, fresh air, and the help of nature. Plants need all of that, and so do we. It's a great excuse to learn a new skill that is not only beautiful, but also helps us to reconnect with ourselves, with nature, with the actual world beside our office. And we need that desperately.

It's also the best time of year to be outside in the sun, wearing sunscreen, obviously, to plant seeds, water them, take care of the soil, and simply let nature take all our worries away. We have an infinite number of different seeds to plant: flowers, fruits, and vegetables that are waiting for us to add them to our collection. Don't worry; if you don't have much space, or even if you live in an apartment, you can still enjoy the thrill of having your own garden! Just go on Pinterest, and you'll find endless ideas for gardening in potted plants. We can all have our relaxing moment in the garden, and while we watch our plants grow, here's a garden of memes for inspiration!
