I may love you, but just saying it won't be enough for you to understand it.

Has it ever occurred to you that your loved one isn't fully aware of the fact that you love them, even though you have said it a million times already? It can be due to insecurities, trauma from a past relationship, or simple doubt caused by the sense of disbelief that someone could love them that much. Doubt and lack of assurance can have a thousand reasons to exist in someone's mind, but that doesn't mean that it should be like that. As a partner, if you realize that your loved one isn't fully sure about your love for them, you start to feel the need to prove it to them. As someone who has felt unloved even when the other person did, in fact, love me. In my first relationship, I couldn't believe that someone would ever love me for me; I was so insecure that I couldn't even imagine that sentiment that was being professed to me to ever be true. I can give you some relationship advice to make your other half aware that they are very much loved.

I was always very insecure, so a simple 'I love you' didn't really mean to me what the other person wanted it to mean. For me, it was a dumb phrase that could be said around without having any feelings attached to it. I saw it as a form of expressing that the other person was "fine" or "cool"; not that they loved me. For me to fully get into my mind that someone did love me, I needed to hear far more than that. Something that worked was for the other person to tell me exactly what went through their mind when they first met me and what they thought about when they saw me at that moment. That made me aware of what they think, which proves their love towards me. Another thing that I liked to hear, instead of their cliché phrase, was to know if they think about me when we are not together, what kind of situations made them think about me, and what they evoked in their mind.

There are other forms of showing love that work better for other people. Not everyone likes to make others explain that much about their feelings. Some people like gifts as a way to show love. Others prefer physical touch as a constant reminder of the love that the other person feels for them. Whatever they think that the best way of lovelanguage is, that is the way your will make them understand your love for them. A simple 'I love you' doesn't mean the same or have the same importance for everyone. You need to find the correct way of making your loved one aware of the love you are professing in a way that is understandable to them. Maybe some memes can work for them, using laughter as a way to get the true feelings out.
