We know, from purrsonal experience, how silly they can be about certain items. And we don't need to be ICHC writers to know about this. Yes, we can pull up stories that we've covered about cats who are obsessed with almonds, and cats who love to play with snap peas, and cats whose favorite pastime is sitting directly on our puzzles.
But there's no need to go online to see it. We just look at our own cats. My cat's favorite toys, for example, are grape stems. Not the grapes themselves, she has no interest in those. Only the stems, and preferably when they are still somewhat moist. She is the laziest cat you will ever meet, but grape stems are something she actually gets up for. And that is a beautiful thing. In fact, cats being this silly and unique is one of our favorite things about them.
