Turns out, we are all Garfield, and all we need to be happy is a cup of morning coffee, lots and lots of lasagna, and no Mondays ever again. Sadly, we are not cats. In fact, we have cats waiting at home, and because we want to continue to spoil them with fancy food and complicated toys they will never use, we must continue to attend our jobs. Mondays have a special kind of feeling. By that we mean a "horror" kind of feeling that starts haunting us from Sunday. The approaching responsibilities, the growing to-do list, the everlasting unnecessary meetings that are sure to come, the email typos, and the whole adulthood thing we haven't gotten a handle on quite yet. The eternal wait for the weekend. Then, when the weekend finally does come, Monday is always there, lurking in the shadows, waiting for us to be comfortably watching a show while snuggling in bed, to jump-scare us into having to wake up early again.

Alternatively, cats are way more adorable than us, and more expressive too. They also hate to be woken up from a nap, and they also want to snack and receive cuddles all day.
