How about some Fall-themed paper straws?

As Fall starts to bloom, the weather gets a bit chilly. Temperatures drop, and everyone pulls out their coats and themed cardigans. The fall aesthetic makes a comeback as beanies enter the fashion scene once more. Only one problem. It's not actually that chilly. The climate is starting to feel a lot like life itself, full of unexpected ups and downs.

Every day, the changes are more evident. October has come with the wrath only Halloween season can have, with peculiar climate phenomena, one after the other. At this point, the news has just become one big weather forecast channel, except it is becoming even more impossible to predict what comes next. Will it be an extreme heat wave? Will it rain until we all get private swimming pools in our backyards? Who knows. The only thing we can count on nowadays is that the world is always trying to surprise us. Expect the unexpected, I guess.

Now, as much as I would love to consider this a not-so-fun ahead-of-its-time advent calendar, deep down we all know what's actually going on here. No, it's not that The Witches decided to bring Fall a little later this year, and no, it's not some random act of the cosmic roulette. We've heard it before, and we'll hear it again: climate change. As things get crazier by the second, many of us are screaming to our invisible friends, "Hey, I told you so". We knew this was coming, and it still took us by surprise, somehow. Of course, this is not to say that there is nothing to be done; we can always turn the tables around and make the most of our decisions, keeping the environment at the top of our priority list. You know, that is if you actually like to breathe and drink water and all. Another thing we can totally do is laugh about it. Yes, the pending end of the world can be a little stressful, to say the least, so let's bring a little comedy into the whole ordeal.
