It's September, but the weather isn't acting like it.

At least where I live. To me, fall is all about crisp air. And that means a lack of humidity. But that's not what I'm getting when I step outside these days. No, I'm getting a rush of wet air that feels like stepping into a steam room. It's not a great feeling. If you're a person whose hair responds to humidity, you know this. It's hard to look and feel your best when there is instant dew that attaches to your hair and poofs it up like a porcupine. You never feel truly clean when it's humid. No matter if you just showered and scrubbed yourself with soap, the second you step outside, it feels like you've just spent hours dancing in a crowded club, but without the calories burned and the fun had. Humidity gets on my nerves unlike any other type of weather. I can stand cold weather, or dry weather, or even rain. At least rain is honest about its wetness. Humidity hides it and pretends like it's a normal day. Plus, you can use an umbrella to save yourself from rain. There is pretty much nothing you can do about humidity.
