Laws of physics usually rule our world and keep us, literally, grounded. That is true for almost every living creature in the world…except cats. Clearly, cats are ruled by the powers of will and snacks, because they have no limits as to what they can manage. The smallest opening in your closet will transform into their next cat cave. A shopping bag transforms into a cabin, and a box is simple heaven. You might think you're a science expert, with no doubts about the rules of shapes and areas, but think again. Cats will challenge every belief you have about sizes and logic, trust us.
They can't help it. They have a natural urge to hide in every single spot they can find. Who knows why; we are no biologists. Those spots seem incredibly uncomfortable, though, and it is hard to believe that anyone can take a nice 5-hour nap in that position. But then again, we are not cats either. If we were, we would be able to comprehend the satisfaction behind fitting just barely into the living room's flower base (with and without flowers, we are sure they have tried both). Consider this your friendly reminder to close all doors at your house. Closet, drawers, kitchen, fridge, bags, and…curtains? Yes, anything goes when it comes to places a cat can take a nap in. No space is too small, and no container is too uncomfortable.
We know you spend a bunch of money on cat toys and cat entertainment, but guess what: they will never use the fancy scratcher you just got for them. If you want to make them truly happy, make sure to leave your shoes unattended and within reach, so they can joyfully snuggle up inside your freshly worn Crocs. If you want to test this out, leave your sink unattended and see what happens. Also, if you can't find your cat around the house, here's a collection of places that internet cats have decided to hide in, so you can get ideas on where to look for your furry friend. Don't show this to your cat, though; we know they're looking for new places to conquer, and they will get too many ideas out of this list.
