This 2002 BMW M3 coupe was registered in Maryland and Texas before it was sold on BaT in October 2022, and work after the seller’s purchase in 2024 included the installation of Recaro Pole Position seats trimmed in Cinnamon leather, along with an AutoSolutions short shifter kit and a replacement headliner and interior trim. Finished in Alpine White, the car is powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 18″ M double-spoke wheels, a power sunroof, xenon headlights, and automatic climate control. This E46 M3 shows 47k miles and is now offered with the removed stock front seats, parts and service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Alpine White (300) and features Shadowline trim as well as xenon headlights, black fender vents and kidney grilles, fog lights, a glass sunroof, a trunk lid spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. The trim is chipped under the right front turn signal, and close-up photos of exterior imperfections are shown in the gallery below.

The 18″ M double-spoke Style 67 wheels are mounted with staggered-width Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The car was factory equipped with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). The seller notes a fault with an ABS sensor.

A pair of Recaro Pole Position bucket seats with wider hip dimensions was sourced in 2024, and they are upholstered in custom Cinnamon leather with M headrest logos. An AutoSolutions short shifter kit with spherical bearings was also installed, and interior appointments include brushed aluminum shadow trim, automatic climate control, cruise control, a BMW Business CD stereo, and Harman Kardon audio. The headliner and assorted interior trim pieces were replaced under current ownership. The right rear speakers will need to be replaced, and the trunk release actuator functions intermittently.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 47k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six was factory rated at 333 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The previous owner noted that the rod bearing recall service was performed in November 2004. The oil was changed and the coolant expansion tank cap was replaced in July 2025, and the seller states that a Blackstone oil analysis was performed at that time. Photos of 2024 compression and leak-down test results are viewable in the gallery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The gear oil in the transmission and differential was changed in July 2025. Additional photos of the underside condition are viewable in the gallery.

The removed stock front seats are included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage.

The car most recently passed a California emissions test in March 2026.
