This custom Ford coupe has been in the seller’s family for more than 50 years, and the seller acquired it from their father in 1980. It was initially a 1930 Ford Model A that was redone in the 1980s in a stock configuration, and between 2018 and 2026 it was built by the seller into a hot rod using the steel Model A body, some ’32 components, and a Total Cost Involved chassis. The build incorporated a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8, a six-speed automatic transmission, and a Ford 9″ rear end along with independent front suspension and a four-link rear suspension with coilovers, four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, and staggered-diameter wheels. Power windows, a custom leather-trimmed interior, Dakota Digital instrumentation, electronic power steering, Vintage Air climate control, and Bluetooth audio were also added. This hot rod is now offered with service records and an Arkansas title that identifies the car as a 1932 Ford Model B.
The steel A body is finished in green and incorporates a 1932-style grille shell, Hagan Street Rod hood and hinge components, smoothed rear-hinged doors, a windshield visor, running boards, full fenders, turn signals, and custom-cut glass.
Brake lights were integrated into the rear fenders, and additional equipment includes a Hagan fuel filler and a back-up camera.
The Total Cost Involved chassis incorporates independent front suspension and a four-link rear setup with coilovers, while braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood discs with drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners. Electronic power steering is also fitted.
The staggered wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires.
The cabin features a custom bench seat upholstered in brown leather, a matching floor console, and custom-trimmed door panels with power windows and Billet Specialties cranks. Additional appointments include a push-button gear selector, Vintage Air climate control with defrost vents, a Bluetooth audio system with Focal amplification and a JL Audio adapter, and thermal and acoustic insulation.
A three-spoke banjo-style steering wheel is mounted to a Flaming River steering column and fronts a Dakota Digital RTX instrument cluster housed in a modified gauge bezel. The digital odometer indicates approximately 500 miles, which represents mileage accumulated since completion of the build. Total chassis mileage is unknown. A push-button starter is also fitted.
The supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8 is equipped with an aluminum AFCO radiator and electric cooling fans as well as an aluminum coolant expansion tank and an aftermarket fuel-pressure regulator. The fuel system incorporates a custom stainless-steel Rick’s Tanks fuel tank and a 2 Much Fabrication vent system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9″ rear end. Power By The Hour transmission electronics and wiring, a custom driveshaft, and a transmission cooler were incorporated during the build. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster 40-series mufflers is also fitted.
