This 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren was first registered in California and was listed on BaT in February 2023 and purchased by its current owner in 2026. Finished in Crystal Laurite Silver over 300SL Red Silver Arrow leather upholstery, the car is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter M155 V8 paired with an AMG Speedshift R five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes asymmetrical 19″ turbine-spoke alloy wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, butterfly doors, xenon headlights, side-exit exhaust pipes, carbon-fiber seats, a cassette stereo, a CD changer, a Bose sound system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. This SLR McLaren has 5k miles and is offered in Texas with a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
Jointly developed between Mercedes-Benz and their then Formula 1 partner McLaren, the production SLR was revealed in November 2003 and produced through late 2010. Each car utilized a carbon-fiber monocoque and crash structures and was hand-built at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England.
This example is finished in Crystal Laurite Silver and features upward-opening butterfly doors, xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, heated side mirrors, twin side-exit exhaust outlets behind each front wheel, and an electronically deployed rear spoiler air brake.
Asymmetrical turbine-style 19″ alloy wheels are mounted with staggered-width Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Braking is provided by silver-finished Mercedes-Benz-branded calipers over carbon-ceramic rotors, and the car is equipped with a Sensotronic Brake Control system (SBC).
The carbon-fiber-backed bucket seats are trimmed in 300SL Red Silver Arrow leather that extends to the dashboard, center console, and door-panel inserts. Aluminum trim accents the cabin, which is further appointed with dual-zone automatic climate control, a shift knob-mounted starter button, a Bose sound system, a cassette stereo, and a trunk-mounted CD changer.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames McLaren-branded instrumentation including a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 5k miles, approximately 20 of which were added under current ownership.
The front-mid-mounted 5.4-liter M155 V8 was factory rated at 617 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque and features all-aluminum construction, 24 valves, dry-sump lubrication, and a Lysholm-type twin-screw supercharger. Service in March 2021 included changing the oil and replacing the accessory belts, and the seller states that the main and auxiliary batteries were replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG Speedshift R five-speed automatic transmission that received a fluid change in 2021.
