This 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is #0002 of the examples built for the model year, and it has 877 miles. The car was initially delivered to Red McCombs Ford of San Antonio, Texas, and it was acquired by the current owner in late 2011. The vehicle is finished in Competition Orange over Charcoal Black cloth and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a Torsen limited-slip differential, reflective body graphics, a rear wing, 19″ 10-spoke alloy wheels, Brembo front brakes, Recaro seats, air conditioning, and a CD stereo. This Boss 302 is now offered by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, on behalf of the owner with two window stickers, a Boss 302 ownership kit, the owner’s manuals, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Wisconsin title.
The car is finished in Competition Orange and features a reflective hood stripe, mirror caps, rear wing, and “hockey stick” side decals with Boss 302 lettering. Additional details include a Boss 302-specific front fascia, a blacked-out grille with blocked-off fog light openings, a front spoiler, and a quad-exit exhaust system with side and rear outlets. Paint-meter readings are visible in the gallery below.
The Boss 302 features electric power steering, five-way adjustable dampers, unique front and rear coil springs, and a revised rear sway bar and bushings when compared with the GT. The 19″ 10-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs with Brembo front calipers over ventilated rotors.
The cabin features manually adjustable Recaro front bucket seats trimmed in Charcoal Black cloth with “Boss 302” embroidery on the backrests. Additional equipment includes engine-turned dashboard trim, air conditioning, a CD stereo, TracKey, cruise control, and rear seats.
The Alcantara–wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 877 miles, approximately 72 of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.0-liter Road Runner V8 features a forged rotating assembly, CNC-ported cylinder heads, and revised camshafts for a factory rating of 444 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Service in June 2026 included replacing the battery and performing a coolant flush and oil change.
A strut tower brace spans the engine bay, and a plaque affixed to the intake manifold denotes this example as #0002 built for the model year.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a 3.73:1 Torsen helical limited-slip differential.
The window stickers list initial delivery to Red McCombs Ford of San Antonio, Texas, as well as factory colors, options, and a total MSRP of $43,465. A Boss 302 ownership kit is also included in the sale along with its removed factory battery, unopened factory floor mats, and factory car cover.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage.
