Here's a clever product idea from industrial designers David Suhami & Nitzan Shafat, a/k/a Scratch Design. ClampTape is essentially an A-clamp with a tape dispenser centered on the clamp's pivot point.

User reviews (here) state that the clamp is sturdy and stays in place while dispensing.

But the key problem is that it takes an odd size of tape that is presumably standard in Israel, where Scratch Design is based; standard 3M or Scotch rolls will not fit. Should the designers correct that, I imagine the product would sell like hotcakes in the American crafting market.
