This product sits at the intersection between hikers and the EDC crowd. The Tactical Hiking Stick, by a faceless no-history company called TerraTactic, consists of eight aluminum sections that can each be fitted with one of the included tools. It's meant to provide a handy way to tote them all in a single object, theoretically freeing up bag or belt space; the trade-off is that you need to unscrew the stick to get to the tool.
It comes with a magnetic compass, an emergency whistle, a bottle opener, a harpoon, a screwdriver, a knife, a fire starter, a paracord bundle and a wood saw. The eight sections add up to a height of 54.4"; shorter users can remove sections to reach their desired length.
I'd think the object's overall weight would be of interest to potential purchasers, but the company doesn't mention it.
These run about $100, and the company says they offer a lifetime warranty.
