Audi A2 E-tronOn sale December
New EV riffs on the cult-classic, MPV-aping supermini. Just like the original, it is focused strictly on efficiency: even the sidewalls of its tyres are shaved down to reduce drag.
It will be the new entry-level Audi, indirectly replacing the A1 and Q2 that went out of production earlier this year, with pricing tipped to start around £30,000.

The BMW 3 Series is going electric globally for the first time, offering 567 miles of range and reinterpreting design cues from the brand’s back catalogue.
It promises to be the keen driver’s choice, thanks to BMW’s new 'Heart of Joy' computer that unites all of the car's key systems onto one chip. This, it claims, will bring tangible benefits to stability, agility and comfort, matching those of the combustion-engined 3 Series.
A Touring estate version is also on the way.

BMW M3On sale 2027
The 3 Series' Neue Klasse rebirth extends to the high-performance M3, with the first electric version of the super-saloon due next year. M boss Frank van Meel has described the EV as the "worst enemy" for the renewed petrol M3 that is also on the way. It will deploy four electric motors to unlock new dynamic capabilities.

Will offer the broadest powertrain array of any BMW to date: petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid, battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell. The EV will have the biggest battery of anything on sale currently, at a huge 140kWh.

Boxy family SUV looks a little familiar – and will break new ground for BYD as it pushes further upmarket. It will major on value for money, offering a 402bhp plug-in-hybrid powertrain with an electric range of 74 miles for £47,995.

Limited-run special will follow the Leon VZ and draw on Cupra’s touring car racing experience, with wider rubber and more aggressive aero. Its turbocharged four-cylinder engine is also dialled up to 321bhp and 310lb ft.
