This 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is powered by a 350ci V8 equipped with aluminum heads, 10:1-compression pistons, and a four-barrel carburetor. The three-speed automatic transmission is believed to have been overhauled at the time of the engine install, and a Richmond 3.36:1 Positraction rear end has been added along with RideTech air suspension, 15″ Rally wheels, and a Sony cassette stereo. The turquoise hardtop also has power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, and air conditioning. Previously listed on BaT in November 2024, this modified Monte Carlo was purchased by the selling dealer on BaT in January 2025 and is now offered with the removed 13″ Zenith wire wheels, spare parts, and transferable New York registration.
The car was factory-finished in Misty Turquoise (34) and was buffed and ceramic-coated under current ownership. The previously fitted fender skirts have been removed. The photos provided in the gallery were taken in September and October 2025.
This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in October 2025 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner’s participation on BaT has been restricted and their buyer’s fee was not refunded.
The 15″ Rally wheels were added under current ownership and are mounted with 235/60 and 275/60 Hankook Kinergy tires. The car has RideTech air suspension along with power steering and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The seats are upholstered in black, and the instruments are surrounded by woodgrain trim. The car has air conditioning and a Sony AM/FM/cassette stereo, and an amplifier and dual batteries are housed in the trunk.
The chrome steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a clock. A trio of AutoMeter gauges is mounted underneath the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 86k miles.
The replacement 350ci V8 is equipped with aluminum heads, 10:1-compression pistons, and a four-barrel carburetor, and it was reportedly installed approximately 2k miles ago. Headers and a dual exhaust system have also been fitted. The engine bay was detailed and painted, and the oil was changed in October 2025.
The TH350 three-speed automatic transmission is said to have been overhauled at the time of the engine install. A Richmond Gear 3.36:1 limited-slip differential and a 2,900-rpm stall torque converter were also installed.
