Erin Walsh's client portfolio resembles what I predict next year's Golden Globes guest list will look like: Selena Gomez, Alison Brie, Mindy Kaling, and, of course, Anne Hathaway, who Walsh dressed for both The Odyssey and The Devil Wears Prada 2 press tours. (I'm still thinking about Hathaway in custom Prada at The Odyssey's NYC premiere—props to Walsh for acing method dressing.) But it's not just Walsh's proximity to coveted designers and tastemakers; it's also her high standards and talent for trend forecasting that make her a vanguard in the field. And with fall just around the corner, I'm intrigued to see what Walsh is eyeing (spoiler: "a good quality cashmere sweater" will do wonders according to Walsh).
In addition to her A-list roster, Walsh is also a published author. Earlier this year, she released The Art of Intentional Dressing, which invites readers to undergo a self-discovery through style experimentation. Adding to her multi-hyphenate title, Walsh has taken on the role of Marshalls' and TJ Maxx's Fashion Style Expert.

And just like the rest of us, Walsh has shifted her focus from summer style to fall fashion. Meaning suede, leather, and cashmere are the new priorities.
Come along as Walsh takes us through her stylist-approved Marshalls and TJ Maxx buys, standout fall 2026 trends, and her styling tips for looking fresh and cool.
Shop Erin Walsh's Marshalls & TJ Maxx Shopping CartFrom cuffed denim jeans to cropped trend coats, Walsh's Marshalls and TJ Maxx list is packed with fall 2026 must-haves. Specifically, investment pieces with "longevity." According to Walsh, "Shopping for longevity means investing in pieces you can wear over and over, like cashmere sweaters, solid pairs of jeans, and leather goods that hold up season after season – and pieces true to you." Basically, it's crucial to have a capsule wardrobe. Or as Walsh told me, "Trend forecasting gets you nowhere if you don’t love the basics that you start with.
Ahead: 10 Marshalls and TJ Maxx items that get a celebrity stylist seal of approval.

Fall Colorways
"I’ve never been one to jump on trends but fall colorways are my favorite. Standout colors I'm seeing in stores are espresso brown, burgundy, shades of green, and metallics. Playing with different textures when styling deep fall colors adds depth and dimension to an outfit, especially with a monochrome look. Layering might be one of my favorite parts of styling. You can morph your favorite pieces to fit infinite combinations when you’re in the mood to switch it up for less than $30," said Walsh.
