This 1984 Land Rover 110 was refurbished and modified by Arkonik of Somerset, England, in 2015, with work including a repaint in Pepper White, an interior retrim in distressed brown leather, and an overhaul of the 3.5-liter V8. Features include a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, a sunroof, a NAS-style rear bumper, LED headlights, heavy-duty springs, Bilstein shocks, 16″ steel wheels, side steps, a Lode Lane steering wheel, air conditioning, a Bluetooth-capable Alpine stereo, heated front seats, and inward-facing jump seats. The truck was brought to the US in 2015 and was offered on BaT in July 2021 before being acquired by the seller later that year. Over $35k in work since 2020 included servicing the cooling system, refreshing the ignition system, and resealing the doors and windows. This Land Rover 110 is now offered with a Land Rover Certificate, an Arkonik Certificate of Approval and specifications, recent service records, a Carfax report, and a Connecticut registration in the seller’s name.
The truck was repainted in BMW-specification Pepper White during the Arkonik build in 2015. Exterior features include a pop-up sunroof, fold-down side steps, a NAS-style rear bumper, tinted windows, a front fishing rod holder, and a rear auxiliary light. LED headlights and replacement fog lights were installed under current ownership, though the fog lights do not work. Over $5k was spent resealing the doors and windows in late 2021, around which time the hood release cable and side steps were replaced. There are imperfections around the body, including areas of corrosion that can be seen in the gallery below, and the rear wiper and washer operate intermittently.
The 16″ steel wheels are finished in Chawton White and mounted with 235/85 General Grabber TR tires. A matching spare is secured to a swing-out rear carrier. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums. Heavy-duty springs, Bilstein shocks, and related suspension components were installed in 2020 under prior ownership, and an invoice for the work is shown in the gallery.
The cabin is appointed with a microsuede headliner, black carpeting, and distressed brown leather upholstery that covers the aftermarket front bucket seats, split bench seat, and inward-facing jump seats. Details include an under-dash air conditioning system, front-seat heaters, a Bluetooth-capable Alpine stereo, and four aftermarket speakers. Sound-deadening and thermal insulation were fitted during the Arkonik work in 2015. The seller notes that some of the interior lighting does not work.
The wood-rimmed Lode Lane steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The seller tells us the six-digit odometer was reset during the aforementioned refurbishment and now shows 17k miles since the build was completed, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer cable was repaired in August 2026, and a clicking noise from the speedometer head remains. True mileage is unknown.
The 3.5-liter Rover V8 was reconditioned by Arkonik in 2015 and features electronic ignition and a four-barrel Weber carburetor. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case. The water pump, rear muffler, exhaust manifolds, exhaust downpipes, intake manifold gaskets, differential seals, and various hoses were replaced in June 2021 under prior ownership. An upgraded coolant expansion tank and radiator cap were installed later that year along with various replacement lines and fittings. A coolant leak was addressed, and the coolant was flushed in 2024. The distributor, ignition coil, spark plugs, and spark plug wires were replaced in September 2025, at which time an oil change was performed. The starter and ignition switch were replaced in July 2026.
