The Backstreet Boys may as well just move to Toronto, am I right?
The beloved ’90s boy band, consisting of Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and Kevin Richardson, took to social media to once again announce the extension of their 2027 residency, presented by Rogers at Toronto’s Rogers Centre.
What began as a four-show concert series, running across two weekends in February, has grown to 11 shows which will spill into March.
The five group members shared a video make the announcement, joking with one another on who would be the one to share the good news. In the end, it was all of them.
“It’s. All. Happening,” they wrote on X. “You guys have blown through these tickets and we truly didn’t know the demand would be THIS BIG so we are adding TWO MORE SHOWS on March 5th & 6th so as many of you as possible can experience “Into the Millennium – HOMECOMING: Live in Canada” with us!”
They added: “Can’t wait to see you all there!!”
It’s. All. Happening.

In case you’ve lost track, the residency kicks off the weekend of Feb. 12, 13 and 14, and will continue on the following weekends on Feb. 19, 20, 21, Feb. 26, 27 and 28 and now, Mar. 5 and 6.
Just a hunch, but we wouldn’t be surprised if they add the Sunday to their latest dates along with even more upcoming shows. Hey, if we speak it into the universe, you never know what might come out of it.
Whatever happens, the Backstreet Boys will have to vacate their temporary residence once Toronto’s other boys, the Blue Jays, start their season.
Smashing previous record
The Backstreet Boys have now set a new record for the most concerts played at the Rogers Centre, surpassing hometown boy The Weeknd and Taylor Swift, who each played six shows at Rogers Centre on their most recent headlining tours.
The Toronto residency marks the band’s only North American stadium shows of 2027.

Once in a Millennium
The Millennium album features some of the group’s greatest hits, including “I Want It That Way,” “Larger Than Life,” “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely,” and “The One.”
Expect Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and Kevin Richardson to also perform other beloved classics like “As Long As You Love Me,” “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” and, of course, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).”
There will also be songs the band has rarely performed live, including “It’s Gotta Be You” and “The Perfect Fan.”
The Toronto concert series follows the band’s Into the Millennium Sphere shows in Las Vegas, as well as their 10-show stadium residency in Dusseldorf, Germany, which launched last month.
