Bafana Bafana will get their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying campaign underway at home against Guinea this month.
Pitso Mosimane’s charges are scheduled to host Guinea on 26 September before traveling to Egypt to face Eritrea on 30 September.
As reported on The South African, Bafana Bafana will remain in Egypt for an international friendly with the Pharaohs at Cairo International Stadium on 4 October.
Now, the South African Football Association (SAFA) has yet to publicly announce the venue for the home fixture against Guinea.

BAFANA BAFANA TO HOST GUINEA IN ORLANDO OR RUSTENBURGThe South African can exclusively reveal that SAFA has identified two possible venues for the Bafana Bafana match against Guinea.
This encounter, which will mark Mosimane’s first as Bafana Bafana head coach in 14 years, will either be played at Orlando Amstel Arena or Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace.
The association has identified the two venues, and deliberations are underway before Mosimane can announce his squad.
SAFA is expected to confirm its decision on where the game against Guinea will be played as soon as Mosimane announces his final squad.
Bafana Bafana have, on so many occasions under Hugo Broos, played their games at the now Orlando Amstel Arena.
