This Baja-style 1970 Volkswagen Beetle was refurbished between 2025 and 2026. The car is finished in white with orange, yellow, and blue graphics over black leatherette upholstery, and it is powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The front bucket seats were installed in June 2026, at which time the door panels and carpet were replaced. The rear seat has been removed and a flat platform is installed in its place. The dash pad was removed, the interior metal surfaces were painted white, and a custom desert mural adorns the glovebox door. Additional appointments include a wire basket cup holder mounted on the center tunnel, aftermarket USB ports, and a Blaupunkt RPD 552 CD stereo. The seller notes the horn does not work.
A three-spoke aftermarket steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 44k miles, approximately 1,000 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown, and the fuel gauge is inoperative.
The 1.6-liter flat-four features a Solex downdraft carburetor and was factory rated at 57 horsepower. The heater boxes were replaced with an off-road exhaust system, and a custom desert mural is painted on the fuel tank located in the front trunk. The seller notes oil drips from the pushrod tubes and filter.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
The floor pans were replaced in 2025. The interior side of the floor pans was painted with POR-15, and a bedliner coating was applied to the underside.
