Which ground has the best atmosphere in the EFL? I love going on random trips to stadiums around Europe. I’ve been to matches in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, Spain, Italy and Germany.
I went to QPR - Bolton at the weekend, my first English match in over a decade, and no offence to the QPR fans but it was dreadful. There was some decent noise from one stand, I only realised 15 minutes in that was actually the Bolton away end. One chant of “come on you Rs” around the 60 minute mark was all there was from the home end.
Surely there’s better than this in the EFL? I was considering going to Bolton because their fans seemed decent but as fans of the league what would be your top 3/5 grounds in the 3 tiers?
