Made my monthly trip to Boston Public library, and every time I come here, I always have to take pictures, anyone who knows me knows I LOVE old buildings. Charles McKimm was nothing short of a genius having designed this building and Boston symphony hall. My old middle school was built in 1923 and actually designed off of Symphony Hall, and other designs of McKim.
The last photo is from the Johnson building addition from the 70s facing boylston street, but an interesting design nonetheless that’s a more modern take on the McKimm lobby facing Copley
Edit: holy shit yall thanks for all the love n upvotes. I appreciate yall. More to come
