A twisted horror TV show led by Brendan Gleeson and Mary-Louise Parker is out now on Peacock. The show is inspired by Stephen King‘s science-fiction novel of the same name.
All three seasons of Mr. Mercedes drop on Peacock today. Gleeson plays the role of Bill Hodges, while Parker will be portraying the character of Janey Patterson. Gleeson has been involved with some notable projects before, namely, In Bruges, The Banshees of Inisherin, Spider-Noir, Troy, and more. Some of Parker’s notable credits include Red, Weeds, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Institute, and more.
Apart from the duo, the cast also includes Holland Taylor (Ida Silver), Breeda Wool (Lou Linklatter), Jharrel Jerome (Jerome Robinson), Robert Stanton (Anthony ‘Robi’ Frobisher), Harry Treadaway (Brady Hartsfield), Rarmian Newton (Peter Saubers), Maximiliano Hernández (Antonio Montez), and more.
The crime-thriller series is primarily directed by Jack Bender. Also co-directing the show will be Laura Innes, John David Coles, Kevin Hooks, Peter Weller, and Michael J. Leone.
The first season of Mr. Mercedes premiered on August 9, 2017, on the Audience Network in the U.S.

The Brendan Gleeson-led series received a rating of 7.7 out of 10 on IMDb. Critics gave Mr. Mercedes a 91% rating on the Tomatometer and a 71% rating from audiences on Popcornmeter via Rotten Tomatoes.
