Kia Philippines has confirmed the arrival windows of the EV3 and PV5, both of which will reinforce the brand’s BEV lineup. The models were first confirmed to be Philippine-bound at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show in June. The announcement was made in celebration of World EV Day on September 9.

The EV3 has been confirmed for launch within September, supporting the EV9 and EV5 as a new compact option. Meanwhile, the PV5 has been confirmed to arrive in October to serve the commercial market, starting with its Cargo configuration.

Although the Korean brand did not share specs on either vehicle, regulatory homologation documents for both models have already surfaced in previous months. The EV3, which surfaced in late July, appeared to be available in GL and GLS variants. Both trims share the same powertrain: a single motor sending 201hp and 283Nm of torque to the front wheels, mated to a 58.30kWh battery. This setup translates to a range of around 436km.
