Continental Tire Philippines has launched its new premium all-terrain tire. The CrossContact A/T2 was designed for 4x4 SUVs and utility vehicles, and is billed as the brand’s most comfortable yet aggressive all-terrain offering.
The CrossContact A/T2 uses Continental’s latest TractionPlus+ Technology, a formula made for aggressive traction, grip, and durability. The package combines increased tread depth and high void volume for more traction on loose terrain. The tires also have self-cleaning open shoulders that prevent mud from building up between tread blocks.

The tires feature the brand’s BlackPaw Compound, an advanced polymer system with an all-season formulation. The compound enhances grip on various surfaces and was designed to perform in cold, wet, or dry environments. As for durability, Continental has reinforced the tires’ off-shoulder thickness and sidewall protectors to better absorb impacts and prevent punctures and damage when out on the trail.

While diesel-powered ladder-frame pickups and SUVs are what come to mind when somebody says “off-roader,” Continental has assured that the CrossContact A/T2 is EV-ready, making way for newer off-road vehicles in the market. As for compatibility, the company says the tires are available in rim sizes ranging from 15 to 22 inches.

Continental calls the CrossContact A/T2 “particularly suited to the Philippines,” saying that roads can change from smooth to rough, to gravel, then mud all in one trip. The brand says these tires were designed to give drivers more confidence wherever they go. The CrossContact A/T2 officially hits the market today, October 8. Will you be considering this for your next tire change?
