The cat distribution system gives us many things. But what it always reminds us of time and time again, is the miraculous beauty of the universe's messages. Fate may not be something you believe in, and maybe you have good reason for that. There are things within our world that have no explanation, happenings and coincidences that are almost unbelievable. In the story here, it might feel a bit like fate, but we'll let you decide. It's 10 pm, a couple is leaving a party and saying goodbye to everyone, when the husband stops them in their tracks with the meowgic words about hearing a kitten's meow. "I just heard a cat," he said, and everything changed forever. No longer were they on their way home, but on their way to saving a little kitten who they couldn't just abandon. They find themselves in a stranger's driveway crawling underneath a car in the dark. They even have some pork to tempt the kitten with. They are so desperate to save the kitten that they actually knock on the door of the house. Someone answers, but it's just a message that the home owners aren't home because they've just had a baby.
The woman feels an overwhelming need to name the kitten after the baby, but that's a different story. They end up getting the kitten out from under, and think about all the ways in which their lives will change with this new and adorable addition to the household.
