This 1953 Ford F-100 pickup was the subject of a custom build completed in 2019 that involved mounting the modified body atop an Art Morrison Chassis with tubular front control arms, a rear four-link setup, adjustable coilovers, power rack-and-pinion steering, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. The top was chopped 2″, the hood was pancaked, the rear fenders were widened, and the body was finished in gray with black accents and a black-finished bed floor. Power is provided by a Lincoln-sourced 4.6-liter V8 linked to a 4R70W four-speed automatic transmission and a Strange Engineering 9″ rear end, and the dual exhaust system has MagnaFlow mufflers. The steel dash panel from a 1953 Ford passenger car has been grafted to the interior of the cab, which houses a two-tone gray trimmed bench seat, a Vintage Air climate control system, and a custom headliner and door panels. This modified F-100 pickup was purchased by the seller in 2019 and is now offered with a Washington title in the seller’s name.
The custom build involved chopping the top by 2″, pancaking the hood, widening the rear fenders, and modifying the front fenders to move the wheel openings forward. The body was finished in gray with a black grille, bumpers, and running boards, and the bed features black-finished floor planks with aluminum runners.

A 1953 Ford passenger-car dash panel was grafted to the cab during the build and painted gray along with the interior door surfaces. A Vintage Air climate control system is installed beneath the dash.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 1953 Ford passenger-car instrument panel with a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 1,500 miles have been added since the build.
The 4.6-liter DOHC modular V8 was sourced from a 1993 Lincoln, according to the seller, and is topped with a gold-painted engine cover panel. Features include a custom air intake assembly and an electric radiator fan.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a 4R70W four-speed automatic transmission and a Strange Engineering 9″ rear end. The dual exhaust system has MagnaFlow mufflers.
