With the Golden State Valkyries looking to impress in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals against the Atlanta Dream and take a 2-0 lead, there’s no denying that star Gabby Williams will be key to the team’s success. As Williams will lead the Valkyries to hopefully win the franchise’s first championship, she arrived at Game 2 in style.
Williams would show love to Golden State’s fellow San Francisco-related teams, this time the San Francisco 49ers, with the star women’s basketball player sporting a Deebo Samuel jersey, as he’s a wide receiver for the team.
“Gabby Williams arrived in a Deebo Samuel 49ers jersey as she and the Valkyries get ready for Game 2 of the WNBA Finals,” the ClutchPoints account wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

As Samuel is looking to help the 49ers on the football field, all the teams based in the area are looking forward to seeing if the Valkyries could get the job done and win the WNBA Finals.
Williams has been huge this season for Golden State, as aside from averaging 14.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.6 steals per game in the regular season, she’s averaged 23.1 points per game in the postseason. The UConn product in her eighth season in the WNBA is coming off a Game 1 outing where she led the team with 26 points.
So far, with help from Williams, Golden State has lost just one game in the postseason, which was Game 2 against the Dallas Wings in the first round of the playoffs. The 30-year-old forward is looking to keep up the level of play for the Valkyries in the WNBA Finals, with Game 2 set for Monday night against the Dream, as the team looks to increase their series lead to 2-0.
