LUCENA CITY — The Pamitinan Protected Landscape (PPL) in Montalban, Rizal remains temporarily closed to visitors as authorities conduct cleanup, repairs and safety assessments. This site is a popular destination for rock climbers and outdoor enthusiasts. The closure comes following the discovery of cracks at its summit.  The Department of Environment and Natural Resources in Calabarzon announced the continued closure on Saturday (August 22).
