Two dogs allegedly involved in attacking another dog and a pet owner in Toronto have been located and seized, according to police.
On Sept. 12, Toronto Police responded to an animal complaint in the area of Avenue Rd. and Roxborough St.
Cops say that on Sept. 10 , a suspect had two dogs in an off-leash enclosed area of a nearby park, and the victim was walking their leashed dog near the off-leash enclosure.
The suspect’s two dogs allegedly escaped the enclosure, charged and attacked the victim and their canine, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and life-threatening injuries, respectively.
On Wednesday, the two outstanding dogs were located and seized.
Tanychia Black, 40, of Toronto , who was previously charged, faces criminal negligence causing bodily harm, two counts of fail to prevent dog from biting or attacking (Dog Owners’ Liability Act), two counts of dog bite a person or domestic animal (Dog Owners’ Liability Act) and one count of obstruct peace officer.

Shooting in Hamilton injures two, one in custody
Hamilton Police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured and three area schools locked down Friday afternoon.
Police said in a social media update at around 2:45 p.m. that the shooting occurred in the Cochrane and Lawrence Rds. area in the city’s Bartonville neighbourhood.
Two victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said. One suspect was arrested and another suspect is wanted.
Police said Rosedale, Viscount Montgomery and St. Eugene schools were in hold and secure following the shooting. The lockdowns were lifted shortly before 4 p.m.
Police asked the public to avoid the area while they investigated the incident.
Man charged in Hamilton stabbing
A 54-year-old Hamilton man has been charged with aggravated assault after police were called to a hotel on Main St. West for a report of a stabbing early Friday morning.
Around 1 a.m., officers were called to the hotel near Whitney Ave. for a disturbance, with initial information stating that a group of individuals were physically fighting and one male was bleeding.
Upon arrival, police found the injured party, as well as a 54-year-old man from Hamilton, who was treated for his wounds before being taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, Hamilton Police Special Constables located the suspect at a nearby location. He was subsequentely arrested and charged.
The Hamilton Police K9 unit conducted a search of the area and located the knife used in the incident.

Man, woman charged following Niagara Falls drug bust
A man and a woman from Niagara Falls face various charges following a drug bust Thursday.
Niagara Regional Police said Friday detectives began an investigation earlier this month into the sale of controlled substances at an address on Desson Ave in Niagara Falls.
A search warrant was executed Thursday morning, cops said, and drugs and cash were seized including 117 grams of suspected fentanyl with a street value of $11,700, 18 grams of suspected methamphetamine worth approximately $900, 300 hydromorphone tablets with a street value of $1,500, 150 oxycodone tablets worth about $1,500, and $2,900 in Canadian currency.
Todd Petkovich, 62, was arrested and charged with four counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Amanda Spence, 49, was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and failing to comply with a probation order.
Cops said, during the search, two additional occupants of the residence were arrested for past warrants.
