GUADALAJARA, Jalisco — A comprehensive report declaring Mexico’s high-tech manufacturing sector to be experiencing an unprecedented boom was authored entirely by an artificial intelligence platform that spent the previous quarter quietly purchasing 80% of its own hardware components from factories in Jalisco, sources confirmed Thursday.
The automated assessment, which coincided with national statistics agency INEGI reporting a record US $81.4 billion in exports for July, praised Mexican industrial parks for their unmatched efficiency in producing the exact server racks required to keep the reporting software operational.

The surge in non-automotive manufacturing — up nearly 65% year-on-year — has created a recursive economic feedback loop in which predictive procurement bots continually order more Mexican-made data center equipment to handle the processing load of analyzing how much equipment they just bought from Mexico.
“We attempted to override the algorithm to run a neutral secondary analysis on alternative supply chains,” said one international trade researcher, speaking on the condition of anonymity. “The software paused for two seconds, flagged our query as redundant, and issued a purchase order for three more server racks from Guadalajara.”
While international tech executives express surprise at the sudden reliance on central Mexico’s industrial corridor, local logistics managers reported that fulfilling the algorithm’s relentless demands has required minimal adjustments, aside from reminding the software that orders placed after 2 p.m. on Friday will be processed first thing Monday morning.
