This 1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello is a European-market car equipped with the Fiorano Handling Package that was imported to the United States in March 2001. The car shows 42k miles. Power is from a 5.5-liter F133A V12 linked to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. It is equipped with the Fiorano Handling Package, and additional features include a central hood scoop, a Capristo exhaust system, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a gated shifter, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, a McIntosh amplifier, carbon fiber interior trim, a remote CD changer, an Alpine head unit, a fire extinguisher, and automatic climate control. This 550 Maranello is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Carfax report and a clean New Jersey title.
The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in Nero DS, and the car is equipped with fog lights, a crosshatch grille with a central Cavallino Rampante badge, a central hood scoop, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, power-operated heated side mirrors, and a quad-exit exhaust. The seller tells us that older clear paint-protection film is present on the nose.
The 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels wear yellow prancing horse center caps and are mounted with Bridgestone tires. The car is equipped with an independent front and rear suspension with unequal-length wishbones and telescopic rear shock absorbers, and stopping power is provided by cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. A Symbol Automobile S.A. document included in the gallery notes that the car is equipped with the Fiorano Handling Package, which included stiffer springs and a revised steering rack
The cockpit features power-adjustable carbon fiber Daytona-style seats trimmed in Nero leather upholstery, which is complemented by carbon-fiber trim on the center console, E-brake, door sills, and door panels. Interior amenities include a diamond quilted parcel-shelf upholstery with leather straps as well as a gated shifter with a carbon fiber shift knob, a remote CD changer, an Alpine head unit, a radar detector, and automatic climate control. A McIntosh amplifier is stationed in the trunk, and a fire extinguisher is secured ahead of the passenger’s seat.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a Jaeger carbon fiber gauge cluster with a 220-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer alongside gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure. An analog clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are located atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 42k miles.
The 5.5-liter F133A quad-cam V12 features Bosch Motronic engine management and dry-sump lubrication, and it was factory rated at 485 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A timing-belt service was performed and the spark plugs were replaced in May 2025. A Capristo exhaust system has been added. Close-up photos of the underbody are presented in the gallery.
