The Atlanta Falcons are playing much better in their preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts than they did against the Denver Broncos last week. Quarterbacks Cooper Rush and Jack Strand already have the team out to a 24-6 halftime lead over the Colts.

After Rush went completed 10 of 11 passes for 86 yards and a passer rating of 99.2, the undrafted rookie out of MSU-Moorhead took over with a few minutes left in the second quarter.

Strand went 4-for-4 for 51 yards, capping of the drive with his first-ever NFL touchdown pass. Undrafted free agent RB Cash Jones caught the 13-yard score from Strand, giving the Falcons a three-score lead at halftime.

Thus far, Strand has a perfect 158.3 passer rating at halftime. Watch the rookies connect for the score, as shared by the team's social media account below.
