Cats are the meowsters of surprise.

If you've been a cat lover for more than two seconds, you already know that cats tend to reach the most bizarre of places before they're found by a person. Some people find cats in their bathtub at random hours, others find a kitten in a car engine, and some other people may find abandoned cats while hiking in a forest, where they certainly do not belong. But apparently, the Cat Distribution System sends kittens inside walls now. Yeah, that's new. But it's exactly what happened in one house, when the family inside located the "meow" sounds from the crawlspace behind their walls.

But why would the Cat Distribution System send cats and kittens into such weird places? I think it's because most people would ignore a stray on the streets. But if a cat is stuck in such an unlikely place - a person's interest would be piqued. They'd come to the rescue like the knights in shining armor and opposable thumbs the cat needs to get out of the situation the CDS has put them in. And thus, winning the forever home they needed with the person who rescued them. Because if you rescue a kitty, most chances are that you're going to keep them.

But how do cats get into these situations in the first place? I mean, besides the CDS installing in them the strange software update of "Got To Get Into Weird Place.exe" In reality, cats seek hiding places that provide them with safety, warmth, and an enclosed environment. It's a cat survival instinct that they simply act upon. If they feel scared or displaced, they'll most likely find themselves in a very strange place before a person finds them, and hopefully take them home to real safety and warmth, with lots of love and care.
