- First-person shooter Far Cry comes to Android devices with Sigma Touch port.
- With 64-bit and 32-bit ARM device support, it runs on even the oldest Android devices.
- Because it’s an unofficial port, you do have to own a copy of the game to use it.
Android gamers don’t just have to play games built especially for smartphones. Ports of popular PC and console games are really taking off lately, and Android users who are fans of the open-world first-person shooter Far Cry no longer have far to go to play the game, thanks to Open Touch Gaming’s latest Sigma Touch update that brings it right to their phones.
In Sigma Touch version 1.4.2, Open Touch Gaming has added Far Cry with the help of open-source port NearChuckle, which brought Far Cry to Linux. This new support joins titles like Quake 4, Aliens versus Predator (2000), Unreal Tournament 99, and Unreal 1998. It runs on 64-bit and 32-bit ARM devices, so you should be able to play on even your oldest Android device. The Far Cry port has full touch controls, full gamepad support, custom touch buttons that are bindable via the Controls menu, and a touch keyboard for console and text entry.
